Description:

As part of the 2nd phase of Pan Pacific Park improvements, this Senior Activity Center was a major remodel of the original outdated facility. In addition to upgrading and repairing the existing run-down building, it was converted into a facility that met the new programmatic requirements established by the Department of Recreation & Parks. The center's design is similar to the aesthetic of the new recreation center on the north end of the site (see Pan Pacific Park) to assist in tying the long park together and strengthen its identity and uniqueness to the residents it serves.
